Widestreams is looking for a Java Developer to join immediately its Beirut office. The Java Developer will be responsible for working closely with software development, problem solving, and implementing and maintaining new software features. The Java Developer should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate for the Java Developer role will have a well-rounded Java Development background.

Responsibilities for the Java Developer:

• Working within a Java or Spring Environment
• Work on existing products helping to enhance current products
• Working within the full SDLC life cycle in an agile environment
• Working closely with internal and external teams to meet deadlines
• Fixing bugs, development in small and large enhancements, design and architecture

Technical Requirements for the Java Developer:

• 3+ years of professional experience using Java, Java Spring, or Angular 2+ stack
• Experience with UI tools such as JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS
• Experience working within Docker, AWS or other cloud based technologies
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintain software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to speak with clients
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
